$19 service call — that’s the full price of the visit. A local tech comes out, finds the problem and gives you a written price. Parts and labor for the repair are extra, and nothing starts until you approve it. If you say no, you pay $19 and that’s it.
No trip, fuel or after-hours fees. We’ll tell you the arrival window when you call.
Visita a domicilio: $19 en total. El técnico revisa la puerta y le da un precio por escrito antes de trabajar. Si no acepta, solo paga $19.
When a roller pops out, the door tilts, binds and can stop halfway with a grinding noise. Common causes are a car bumping the door, a broken cable letting one side drop, worn rollers, bent or loose tracks, or an opener that kept pushing after something went wrong.
We put garage doors back on track in Los Angeles and Ventura County. The technician finds out why the door left the track in the first place, because the same cause will throw it off again if it isn’t fixed. That can mean straightening or replacing a track section, new rollers, or a cable or spring repair.
Signs you need this repair
Rollers sitting outside the track
The door is tilted or twisted in the opening
The door stopped partway with a grinding or scraping sound
A track is bent, dented or pulled away from the wall
A car or something heavy hit the door
Safety first
An off-track door can fall. Don’t try to open or close it, and don’t try to force the rollers back into the track. Unplug the opener so nobody presses the button by accident, and keep people, pets and cars out from under the door. Don’t loosen track bolts or brackets. If the door is partway up, leave it there and call. Don’t pull the red release cord on a door that’s open or hanging: without the opener holding it, the door can drop.
What happens on the $19 visit
The $19 service call is the full price of the visit. The technician stabilizes the door, finds what pushed it off track, and checks the rollers, tracks, cables and springs. You get a written repair price before any work starts. Parts and labor are extra and only with your approval. If you say no, you pay $19 and that’s it. There are no trip, fuel or after-hours fees. Call and we’ll tell you the arrival window.
Questions
What makes a garage door come off its track?
The usual causes are a car bumping the door, a snapped cable, worn or broken rollers, bent or loose tracks, or something blocking the door while the opener kept pushing.
Can I push the rollers back in myself?
It’s not safe. An off-track door is out of balance and can shift or fall, and the cables and springs are still under tension. Leave the door where it is and call.
Will the door need new tracks?
Not always. A slightly bent track can sometimes be straightened, while a badly kinked section is usually replaced. The technician will show you which it is and give you a written price.
The door is stuck halfway up. What should I do?
Leave it there and unplug the opener. Keep people and cars out from under it, and don’t pull the red release cord while the door is up. Call and describe what you see.
